This policy explains what AIOU Suite collects when you use this website and the AIOU Editor software, and why.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, your email address and a scrambled (hashed) form of your password. We cannot read your password.
- Computers you sign in on: the computer's name, a device identifier and the editor version. The identifier is a one-way code made from hardware details; the details themselves never leave your computer.
- Orders: the plan, amount, date and the payment reference from Razorpay.
- Sign-in safety: the IP address and time of failed sign-in attempts, kept for 24 hours to block password guessing.
What we do not collect
Your projects, videos, audio and exports stay on your computer. The editor does not upload them and sends no usage tracking. This website uses no advertising or analytics trackers.
We never receive your card, UPI or bank details. Those go directly to Razorpay.
Why we use it
- To create your account and let you sign in.
- To issue and check your trial or licence and apply the limit on computers.
- To take payment, keep the records the law requires and handle refunds.
- To answer you when you write to support, and to send essential messages such as a password reset.
We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
Who else handles it
- Razorpay processes payments under its own privacy policy.
- Our hosting provider stores the website and its database.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces on this website, so your browser contacts Google to load them.
We share information with authorities only when the law requires it.
Cookies
This website sets one cookie, which keeps you signed in and protects forms. It is removed when you close your browser. There are no tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
Account details are kept while your account exists. Order records are kept for as long as tax law requires. Failed sign-in records are deleted after 24 hours. A computer's record is deleted when you sign it out.
Your choices
You can change your password and sign computers out on your account page. To see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to close your account, write to support@aiousuite.com. We answer within 30 days. Closing your account ends any running licence.
Security
Passwords are stored hashed, the site is served over HTTPS and licence statements are digitally signed. No system is perfectly secure; tell us at once if you think your account has been used by someone else.
Children
The website and software are not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes, and we email you about changes that matter.
